Trademarks

NRWCS LLC owns and maintains the marks below. They identify our certifications and our organization, and their use is limited to protect the value of the credentials they represent.

Protected marks

The following names, designations, and abbreviations are protected marks of NRWCS LLC:

• The National Registry of Workers' Compensation Specialists™
• Registered Workers' Compensation Specialist™ (RWCS™)
• Certified Professionals™

Who may use these marks

Only individuals who have earned the RWCS™ certification and who remain in good standing with the organization may identify themselves using these marks. Good standing includes completing any required continuing education and abiding by the organization's Code of Ethics.

Designation holders may use their earned marks on resumes, business cards, LinkedIn profiles, email signatures, and professional materials to represent their credential accurately.

Enforcement

Use of these marks by anyone who has not earned the corresponding certification, or by a former holder no longer in good standing, is not authorized. NRWCS LLC actively monitors use of its marks and will act to enforce its trademark rights, including requiring that unauthorized use be corrected or removed.
