What's the exam format, and what score do I need to pass?

How long does the self-study curriculum take to complete?
The course is self-paced, so timing depends on your schedule. It's organized into 12 chapters across four stages — Foundations, the Marketplace, Cost Strategy, and Advanced Topics — each closing with a review section. What happens if I don't pass the exam?
Because results are immediate, you'll know right away if you need to revisit any material. Contact us for the current retake process — we're glad to walk you through your options.

Do I need to renew the RWCS™ designation?
Yes — designation holders complete nine hours of continuing education every three years to stay current. There are no separate renewal fees; your one-time $425 enrollment is the only cost to earn and maintain your credential through the standard renewal cycle.
Does the course count for my state insurance CE credit automatically?
The RWCS™ course is approved for up to 12 hours of insurance producer licensing CE credit in most states plus DC. Depending on your state, you may need to confirm your license number with us during enrollment so the credit reports correctly — our team can confirm what's needed for your state when you apply.
Can I complete the program without claiming CE credit?
Yes. The curriculum and exam can be completed with or without insurance CE credit, so professionals outside the insurance-licensing world can still earn the RWCS™ designation.
What's included in the $425 enrollment?
Your one-time payment covers the full self-study curriculum, all exam fees, and immediate test results. There are no additional module purchases and no annual renewal fees — what you pay at enrollment is the full cost, start to finish.
