NRWCS
Introduces Training Examination
Washington, DC - June 16, 2003 –
The National Registry of Workers’ Compensation Specialists
introduced a training only examination for its RWCS designation
program. Individuals who complete the training examination will
not receive continuing education credit for insurance licensing
purposes.
“We
found that many of our applicants were not looking for insurance
CE credit, either because they were not licensed insurance agents,
or they did not need any additional credit hours for the year,”
said Porter T. Talbot, RFP, MBA. “By offering an examination
for training purposes only we were able to accommodate a lot more
individuals,” he stated.
The National
Registry of Workers’ Compensation Specialists, was created
for corporate and government employees to develop and maintain leading-edge
knowledge of the industry and to recognize their academic achievements
by awarding them a professional designation specific to the field
of workers’ compensation. To learn more about the RWCS designation,
